The second stage of the joint project of Sumy State University ‒ Czech University of Natural Sciences

Within the framework of the project “Strengthening the process of capacity building in the field of quality of education and scientific research in SSU and SNAU”, a number of training seminars for teachers, post-graduate students, students and administrative staff of SSU and SNAU were implemented in October 2017. Speakers at the events were international experts of the project. As a result of the activities, the participants received confirmatory certificates of participation in the international event.

So, on October 5, 2017, a seminar was held on the methodology for assessing the quality of the educational process conducted by Mr. Jan Beseda, an expert on the Bologna process and the quality of education, doctor of science, research fellow of the Center for Higher Education Studies of the Czech Republic.

On October 7, 2017 a meeting with representatives of student self-government of SSU and SNAU and a seminar on the methodology for assessing the quality of the educational process and the participation in this process of representatives of student government were held. The event was held by Mr. Gynek Rubik, a graduate student, a student representative in the Senate of Czech University of Natural Sciences, the chairman of the student chamber in the Committee of Professional Education of the Czech Republic.

On October 10-11, 2017 Mr. David Herak, PhD, Professor, Deputy Dean of the Engineering and Technology Faculty for International Relations of Czech University of Natural Sciences held a two-day seminar on the qualitative writing of scientific publications and features of publications in international journals that are part of qualitative science-based databases.

The project “Enhancement of capacity building process in quality of education and research at SNAU and SSU” started in May 2017 for financing the Czech Development Agency. The partners of the project were: Czech University of Natural Sciences in Prague (Czech Republic), Center for Higher Education Studies (Czech Republic), Sumy National Agricultural University and Sumy State University.
