From February 17 to February 24, 2018, with the support of the Frederick Naumann Foundation for Freedom, a delegation from Ukraine to Germany, in particular the Federal State of North Rhine-Westphalia (Dusseldorf) and Berlin, visited Berlin. The delegation included the editor of the magazine “Financial Markets, Institutions and Risks” Igor Recunenko.
Editor of “Business Ethics and Leadership (BEL)” Journal Kostyantyn Kyrychenko met representatives of Umeå University (Sweden) Thomas Boren, Professor, and Zhanna Bugaytsova, Associate Professor, who visited Sumy State University in terms of the academic mobility programme Erasmus+ KA1.
Editor of “Business Ethics and Leadership (BEL)” Journal Kostyantyn Kyrychenko has visited German University of Koblenz-Landau to prepare joint dual degrees programmes in the following directions: Computer and Web Sciences, Mathematical Modeling, Applied Ecology and Environmental Protection. Preparatory work for the realization of this cooperation direction between partner universities has lasted more than a year.
The editor of “SocioEconomic Challenges” Journal Larysa Sysoeva received a freelance Honorary Research Fellow at the Center for Jean Monet (Free University of Berlin) with the project “Financial Markets in the EU and the Neighboring Countries: Characteristics and Regulatory Needs” from February 1, 2018 to July 31, 2018.
From 12th till 18th of December Professor Medani Prasad Bhandari, editor of “SocioEconomic Challenges” Journal visited Sumy State University. Professor Medani P. Bhandari worked as a Professor of inter-disciple Department of Natural Resource & Environment / Sustainability Studies, at the Akamai University (Hawaii, USA).
Coordination meeting on the project’s QUAERE “Quality Assurance System in Ukraine: Development on the Base of ENQA Standards and Guidelines” of EU Erasmus+ Programme implementation was held on 24-26 October at Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University. Editor of “Business Ethics and Leadership (BEL)” Journal Kostyantyn Kyrychenko was present at this meeting.
The meeting was organized in terms of the project “Continuing the Fulbright`s experience: academic and cultural exchanges between Ukrainian universities”, dedicated to the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between the USA and Ukraine and the 25th anniversary of the Fulbright academic exchange programme in Ukraine.
Taras Savchenko, editor of “Financial Markets, Institutions and Risks (FMIR)” Journal, trained at the National Institute of Banking Management (Republic of India, Pune) under the international program “Asset-Liability Management in Banks and Financial Institutions” at the grant provided by the Government of India under the ITEC program.
This summer the staff of the Institute took part in several events of international mobility.
In the end of June, from 26th till 29th of June, Prof. Hanna Shvindina (department of management) and Ph.D. student Zhanna Pronikova (department of economics and business administration) became the participants of PhD Summer School in Economics, Management, Governments and Politics, Political Science, Law and Public Administration in Saka Manor, Estonia.
