On 10th of November International Forum “Regional Voices – Building Bridges for Democracy” took place in Kyiv. This forum was organized by Institute for International Cooperation of the German Adult Education Association (DVV International). The teachers оf SSU who are the member of NPO “Council of Young Scientists” took part in the event, and there were Petrushenko Yuriy, the head of the department of international economics of ARI BT “UABS”, Tarasenko Svitlana, the associate professor of department of public health of MI and Shvindina Hanna, associate professor of the department of management of ASIFEM.
The project of promoting academic integrity in Ukraine SAIUP: the way passed and the prospects for development was held on October 31, 2017.
The experience of developing the system of academic integrity at the University of Fairfield, USA was represented.
Catherine Nantz, Professor of Economics, University of Fairfield, USA and David Schmidt, Director, Center for Applied Ethics, University of Fairfield, USA were the key speakers.
“EDUCATION 2030: From Commitment to Action” is the title of this years ICAE Civil Society Forum, 24 October in Korea.
The participants will look at civil society’s contribution to securing the right to education and lifelong learning for youth and adults. Petrushenko Yuriy, the head of the department of international economics of ARI BT “UABS” represented Sumy State University at this event.
In the period of October 22-26, 2017 the representatives of Oleg Balatsky Academic and Research Institute of Finance, Economics and Management Nadiya Kostyuchenko and Denys Smolennikov took part in the international conference “Innovations for Sustainable Development” and started the traineeship under the program “Education for Sustainable Development” in Kaunas (Lithuania).
The conference was organized by the Baltic University Program, the University of Abo Academy (Turku, Finland), Kaunas Technological University (Kaunas, Lithuania).

This summer the staff of the Institute took part in several events of international mobility.
In the end of June, from 26th till 29th of June, Prof. Hanna Shvindina (department of management) and Ph.D. student Zhanna Pronikova (department of economics and business administration) became the participants of PhD Summer School in Economics, Management, Governments and Politics, Political Science, Law and Public Administration in Saka Manor, Estonia. The lectures of leading scientists, intense seminars and ideas exchange were provided in a form of the 3-days conference
On May 22-26, 2017 an official visit of a representative of the University of Ecology and Management (Warsaw, Poland) within the Erasmus+ program took place.
On May 14-20, 2017 associate professor of the Department of Economics and Business Administration Oleksii Lyulyov and senior lecturer of the Department of Management Alona Yevdokymova passed the internship at the University of Ecology and Management in Warsaw within the Erasmus + program.
During May 8-14 scientists from Oleg Balatskiy Academic and Scientific Institute of Finance, Economy and Management took part in the 8-th St. Gallen Forum for Management of Renewable Energies. The delegation was represented by director Tetiana Vasylieva, professor of Department of Finance, Banking and Insurance Serhiy Lyeonov, associate professor of Economic Theory Department Nadiya Kostyuchenko and professor assistant of Management Department Denys Smolennikov.
Associate Professor of the Department of Management Olga Dreval and Senior Lecturer Tetiana Shevchenko have visited Presov University in Presov (Slovakia) from 26.04.17 to 27.04.17.
Teachers have participated in the final conference in the Slovak-Ukrainian international project “Analysis and assessment of the environment in the border area Slovakia – Ukraine to ensure sustainable development of the territory“, which has been supported by a grant from Norway and by the state budget of the Slovak Republic.
