Центральним поняттям культури ведення бізнесу та взаємодії з контрагентами є етичні норми поведінки власників та менеджерів корпорацій, які, з одного боку, – виступають важливим елементом здійснення успішної підприємницької діяльності та налагодження партнерських відносин, а з іншого – є складними з точки вимірювання та управління. Дане дослідження базується на використанні агентської теорії та теорії стейкхолдерів в процесі порівняння етичних норм поведінки бізнесменів та менеджерів. Відповідно до цих теорій, особисті етичні міркування власників та менеджерів корпорацій впливають на свободу прийняття рішень та поведінку при здійсненні підприємницької діяльності незалежно від розміру їх частки в бізнесі. У статті проаналізовано дані щодо відмінностей у сприйнятті чеськими студентами власників та менеджерів бізнесу; відмінностей між етичними нормами поведінки чеських та американських підприємців та менеджерів; гендерних особливостей сприйняття чеськими студентами різних представників бізнесу. Методичним інструментарієм дослідження етичних уявлень молоді в університеті в Чехії стала модель Букара та Гіріха, а основою для визначення статистичної значущості перевірки гіпотези – парні та непарні Т-тести. Об’єктом дослідження стали представники малого та середнього бізнесу Чехії, оскільки ця країна нещодавно здійснила перехід до ринкової економіки, демонструє швидкі зміни в економічній політиці, тому чеське бізнес-середовище є цікавим об’єктом для дослідження. 73% респондентів раніше працювали в малому бізнесі, майже 44% мали безпосередніх членів сім’ї, які володіють або володіли малим бізнесом, та 9,5% були власниками даного бізнесу. Вікова структура вибірки складалася із 53% жінок та 47% чоловіків в середньому віком до 22 років, 8% з яких були одружені. За результатами дослідження було виявлено наявність несуттєвих відмінностей між етичним сприйняттям чеськими студентами менеджерів та бізнесменів та відсутність впливу на нього наявності у респондентів попереднього досвідуведення бізнесу. Дослідження структури вибірки за гендерною ознакою засвідчило, що чеські студенти жіночої статі менш етично відносяться до власників та менеджерів компанії, ніж чоловіки.
