Taras Savchenko, the member of editorial board of “Financial Markets, Institutions and Risks (FMIR)” Journal, trained at the National Institute of Banking Management (Republic of India, Pune) under the international program “Asset-Liability Management in Banks and Financial Institutions” at the grant provided by the Government of India under the ITEC program.
This summer the staff of the Institute took part in several events of international mobility.
In the end of June, from 26th till 29th of June, Prof. Hanna Shvindina (department of management) and Ph.D. student Zhanna Pronikova (department of economics and business administration) became the participants of PhD Summer School in Economics, Management, Governments and Politics, Political Science, Law and Public Administration in Saka Manor, Estonia. The lectures of leading scientists, intense seminars and ideas exchange were provided in a form of the 3-days conference
Assistant Professor Larysa Sysoeva, the member of editorial board of “SocioEconomic Challenges” Journal, as a member of the Alfred Krupp Research Institute in Greifswald (Germany) participated in international symposiums, conferences and seminars, in particular in Germany and Italy in 2016-2017.
An informational event “EU Career Day” was held in the Congress Center of Sumy State University to familiarize young people with the ways of professional growth, educational and career opportunities for young people in the European space.
The event organizer is the EU Information Center of Sumy State University with the support of the Delegation of the European Union in Ukraine and the Open Society Foundation “Open Society”. Career days are held in different cities of Ukraine within the framework of the EU: Choice of Ukrainian Youth Project and implemented already in Mariupol, Uzhhorod, Chernivtsi and Chernihiv.
On May 22-26, 2017 an official visit of a representative of the University of Ecology and Management (Warsaw, Poland) within the Erasmus+ program took place.
On May 14-20, 2017 Oleksii Lyulyov, the member of editorial board of “SocioEconomic Challenges” Journal passed the internship at the University of Ecology and Management in Warsaw within the Erasmus + program. Erasmus+ provides grants for a wide range of actions including the opportunity for students to undertake work placements abroad and for teachers and education staff to attend training courses. The key action provides a unique opportunity for teachers, headmasters, trainers and other staff of education institutions to participate in international training courses in different European countries. The staff home institution shall apply to receive the grant to send its staff members abroad for training.
During May 8-14 scientists took part in the 8-th St. Gallen Forum for Management of Renewable Energies. The delegation was represented by the Head of the Editorial Board of “Business Ethics and Leadership (BEL)” Journal Tetiana Vasylieva, the Head of the Editorial Board of “Financial Markets, Institutions and Risks (FMIR)” Journal, Serhiy Lyeonov, the member of editorial board of “SocioEconomic Challenges” Journal Nadiia Kostyuchenko.
Associate Professor of the Department of Management Olga Dreval and Senior Lecturer Tetiana Shevchenko have visited Presov University in Presov (Slovakia) from 26.04.17 to 27.04.17.
Teachers have participated in the final conference in the Slovak-Ukrainian international project “Analysis and assessment of the environment in the border area Slovakia – Ukraine to ensure sustainable development of the territory“, which has been supported by a grant from Norway and by the state budget of the Slovak Republic.
On February 16, 2017 the teachers of the Department of Economic Cybernetics conducted the first round of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in the specialty “Economic Cybernetics”. The winners were: Serhii Mynenko (1st place) and Serhii Klimov (2nd place).
