Ця стаття узагальнює аргументи та контраргументи в межах наукової дискусії з питання дослідження впливу прецедентів корпоративної культури (задоволеність роботою, навчання, організаційна справедливість та етичне лідерство) на прийняття або порушення маркетингових норм (неетичні практики 4P (а саме, ціна, продукт, місце та просування)) в організації. Основною метою проведеного дослідження є встановлення наявності причинно-наслідкового зв’язку між культурними прецедентами і маркетинговими нормами під впливом контекстуальних і індивідуальних чинників. Вивчаючи прецеденти поведінки, в статті аналізується одна із основних складових етичної поведінки – прецеденти корпоративної культури. Запропонована модель відображає пом’якшувальний вплив контекстуальних (етичного оптимізму, організаційних та галузевих чинників) і індивідуальних (моральних філософій, демографії та особистісних якостей) факторів на зв’язок між культурними прецедентами та прийняттям маркетингових норм. Проведене дослідження базується на використанні аналітичного та порівняльного методів досліджень. Грунтуючись на систематизації існуючих напрацювань вчених з даного питання, в статті наведено ряд пропозицій, що стосуються впливу культурних прецедентів на маркетингові норми та пом’якшуючої ролі індивідуальних і контекстуальних факторів. У зв’язку з вищезазначеним актуальність даної теми зумовлена відсутністю достатньої уваги з боку науковців щодо дослідження предикторів участі в неетичних діях по відношенню до моделі 4P та наявністю досить обмежених досліджень, за винятком просування та реклами, інших змінних маркетингу (наприклад, продукт, ціна та управління розподілом). Згідно запропонованої моделі, менеджери повинні зосередитися на задоволеності роботою, навчанні, етичному лідерстві та організаційній/ розподільній справедливості в контексті підвищення ймовірності прийняття маркетингових норм в організації. Крім того вони також повинні усвідомлювати роль пом’якшуючих чинників, таких як демографія та особисті якості людей, з якими вони працюють. За результатами аналізу зроблено висновок про те, що врахування даних ролей сприятиме кращому впровадженню маркетингових норм в організації.
