Четверта промислова революція відкриває величезні перспективи для зростання світової економіки, в той же час з’являються нові чи загострюються існуючі проблеми, серед яких вагоме місце займає питання нерівномірного розподілу доходів населення. Проблема нерівності має значне соціально-економічне та геополітичне значення в усьому світі, оскільки істотне соціальне та майнове розшарування населення призводить до загострення фінансово-економічних та соціальних проблем у суспільстві на місцевому, національному та навіть міжнародному рівнях. У статті розглянуто та виокремлено основні технологічні та соціально-економічні фактори, які характеризують прояви четвертої промислової революції (кількість компаній, що використовують програмні рішення; кількість осіб, які використовують електронні урядові звернення через веб-сайти; відсоток осіб, що використовують Інтернет для замовлення товарів чи послуг; частка обороту підприємств, які використовують електронну комерцію; обсяг виробництва багатоваріантних промислових роботів) та нерівномірного розподілу доходів населення (відношення обсягу венчурних інвестицій до ВВП; кількість осіб, зайнятих у інноваційному виробництві; кількість осіб, зайнятих науковою та науково-технічною роботою) у розвинених країнах світу (Франція, Німеччина, Італія, Іспанія, Великобританія). З метою визначення тренду та циклічної складової в динаміці процесів, що характеризують Індустрію 4.0 та майнову нерівність населення, проведено аналіз пошукових запитів з використанням інструментарію Google Trends. На основі отриманих оперативних даних, досліджено взаємозв’язок між рівнем нерівномірного розподілу доходів населення, який представлено індексом Джині, та змінами в соціально-економічному та технологічному розвитку країн, спричинених дією Індустрії 4.0. На основі отриманих формалізованих залежностей, авторами статті оцінено прогнозний рівень індексу Джині на наступні 15 років з урахуванням трансформацій у технологічному та соціально-економічному середовищі, викликаних активним розвитком четвертої промислової революції в світі.
