Розширена анотація українською мовою
У статті проаналізовано ступінь підтримки державними та місцевими органами влади в США представників малого та середнього бізнесу з позиції впливу на умови ведення підприємницької діяльності, ефективність діяльності компаній та ділові очікування власників бізнесу у Сполучених Штатах Америки. Методологічною основою проведеного дослідження є використання непараметричних методів оцінки, а саме критерію Манна-Уїтні- Вілкоксона, що дозволяє проводити порівняння двох незалежних вибірок, величини якої вимірюються в порядковій шкалі. Об’єктом дослідження виступили компанії з 41 штату, при цьому кожен із штатів був віднесений до однієї з двох груп, виходячи з оцінок щодо рівня підтримки бізнесу державними органами влади. Штати, які отримали показник вище середнього, були віднесені до групи «висока державна підтримка уряду», а інші – до групи «низька державна підтримка уряду». Крім цього, автор статті здійснив порівняння двох груп штатів у контексті умов ведення підприємницької діяльності, рівня ефективності діяльності компаній та стану ділових очікувань власників бізнесу. Проведене дослідження емпірично підтвердило, що більша підтримка держави чи місцевого самоврядування стимулює зростання ключових фінансово-економічних показників діяльності компаній та покращення очікувань власників щодо перспектив їх розвитку. Результати дослідження засвідчують, що штати з достатньо високим рівнем підтримки бізнесу з боку держави чи місцевого самоврядування мають більш успішно функціонуючі компанії та водночас власники оптимістично налаштовані щодо розширення їх бізнесу у майбутньому. Виходячи з проведеного дослідження, автор зазначає, що ухвалення рішення про підтримку малого та середнього бізнесу органами державної та місцевої влади сприяє стимулюванню розвитку підприємництва та забезпеченню їх економічного зростання Результати дослідження можуть бути корисними для представників державних та місцевих органів влади, які розглядають підтримку малого бізнесу у своєму регіоні / області.
