Проблема зміни клімату є одним з ключових пунктів порядку денного на всіх світових форумах, оскільки відсутність системного та раціонального підходу до усвідомлення даної проблеми населенням різних держав світу створює низку загроз для екологічної безпеки та негативно впливає на здоров’я населення. Особливо гострою ця проблема постає у країнах Азії, що обумовлено значною чисельністю населення, невисоким рівнем соціально-економічного розвитку та, як наслідок, відсутністю усталених норм екологічної поведінки в суспільстві. Таким чином, виникає необхідність пошуку альтернативних інструментів стимулювання ефективного екологічного менеджменту на рівні держави, суб’єктів господарювання та населення. Дане дослідження присвячене вивченню факторів впливу на екологічну свідомість населення та визначенню рівня їх значущості в місті Дака (Бангладеш). Формування інформаційної бази дослідження відбувалось на основі анкетування мешканців міста Дака як дистанційно, так і у вигляді інтерв’ю. Вибірка респондентів склала 400 осіб. Методами реалізації поставлених задач дослідження виступили кореляційний та регресійний аналіз. Проведений аналіз дозволив встановити силу впливу релевантних факторів на рівень екологічної свідомості населення в місті Дака (Бангладеш). Додатково в дослідженні було враховано вікову структуру населення, гендерний фактор, рівень освіти та професію. Отже, за результатами дослідження встановлено, що соціальні мережі, поведінка суб’єктів цільової групи, рекламні інструменти та ініціативи уряду є найбільш значимими факторами впливу на рівень екологічної свідомості. Водночас такі фактори як «екологічна концепція» та «екологічні знання» мають незначний вплив на екологічну свідомість. Отримані результати є основою побудови стратегії активізації екологічної свідомості в Бангладеш, яка повинна включати інструменти поширення реклами захисту навколишнього середовища на радіо, телебаченні та зовнішніх носіях; поступової імплементації ідей побудови зеленої економіки через соціальні мережі та формування групи населення як б власною поведінкою створювала б приклад для інших.
