Рух #MeToo спричинив посилення міжнародної уваги до питань сексуального насильства, зловживань, неправомірних дій, неетичної поведінки, дискримінації та переслідувань на робочому місці. Систематизація літературних джерел та підходів до вирішення питання етичної поведінки при виконанні службових обов’язків є предметом багатьох наукових досліджень, оскільки досі проблема сексуальних домагань та дискримінації негативно впливає на виконання службових обов’язків працівників по всьому світу. Метою даного дослідження є проведення етичного аналізу кадрової політики щодо службових романів та інтимного фаворитизму в епоху #MeToo та «культури відмови». Аналіз існуючих підходів щодо протидії інтимному фаворитизму на робочому місці вказує на недосконалість нормативно-правової бази регулювання трудових відносин в частині недопущення проявів неетичної поведінки. Вагому роль у протидії інтимному фаворитизму є запровадження корпоративних правил етичної поведінки. У статті проаналізовано вплив етичних теорій (етичний егоїзм, етичний релятивізм, утилітаризм та етика Канта) на прийняття управлінських рішень щодо службових романів та будь-яких проявів інтимного фаворитизму. Для керівників та фахівців з менеджменту персоналу розроблено рекомендації щодо формування сприятливого та безпечного робочого середовища, вільного від насильства, гендерної дискримінації та сексуальних домагань. Автори дійшли висновку, що керівництво кожної компанії повинно нести відповідальність за дії своїх працівників та їх відповідність правовим, моральним та етичним нормами поведінки, і тому доцільно приймати комплекс превентивних заходів, направлених на запобігання проявів інтимного фаворитизму в компанії. Питання нетерпимості та заборони будь-яких форм сексуального домагання та дискримінації мають бути інтегровані в корпоративну політику, щоб гарантувати, що компанії вживають відповідних заходів для виявлення та запобігання даним процесам. Крім цього, важливо забезпечити надання допомоги постраждалим працівникам та захистити їх від переслідування чи помсти кривдника чи осуду інших осіб.
